Project management is the cornerstone of success, the guiding force that transforms aspirations into tangible achievements. It’s a dynamic discipline that brings order to complexity, orchestrating tasks, timelines, and resources with finesse. From initiation to closure, project management ensures clarity, accountability, and efficiency, navigating challenges and mitigating risks along the way. It’s the art of balancing scope, time, and cost, while fostering collaboration among diverse teams. With a keen eye on objectives, project management champions adaptability and innovation, delivering outcomes that surpass expectations. In a world where precision and agility define success, project management emerges as the linchpin, transforming aspirations into milestones and challenges into opportunities.
We provide project services by acting as an extension of our clients’ teams to help deliver successful outcomes. Whether supporting internal in-house projects or partnering with agencies and engineering service companies, we bring flexibility and expertise to every engagement. Our experience of turnkey projects from cradle to grave and across EPC/EPCm projects typically ranging from £1 million to £50 million in value, spans across a range of sectors.
A FEED study defines the technical and financial aspects of a project before full-scale execution. It bridges the gap between conceptual design and detailed engineering. The goal is to clearly outline the project scope, cost estimates, schedules, risks, and technical requirements to reduce uncertainty and improve accuracy before committing to final investment decisions (FID).
Detailed Design (also called Detailed Engineering) is the phase that follows FEED. It involves developing fully specified, construction-ready designs, with all the technical detail required to procure, build, and commission a facility or system.
The Construction Phase is the execution stage of a project where the designs and plans developed during FEED and Detailed Engineering are turned into a physical reality. It involves procurement, site preparation, installation, construction, inspection, and ultimately handover of the completed facility or asset.
Vast experience estimating project costs previously from an engineering construction cost perspective for a mechanical engineering company for 10 years providing quotations on components, platforms, pipework, plant upgrades, machines and production lines up to £3m. To then over the last few years providing quotations for in EPC / EPCm style projects Total Install Costs (TIC) up to £16m.
Estimation styles dependent on the stage in the project and information available but parametric, bottom-up, analogous and factor estimating have been used across projects for clients.
Total Install Cost development to provide an output which can be interrogated by steering committee's and clients on costs, contingencies and resource to ensure the correct levels are included.
Track project changes identifying risks to project constraints (time, cost and quality). Once these risks have been identified we can then proceed with a risk management process and/or claims & variations management process.
Trying to implement strategic solutions to minimise disputes and claims for all parties involved.
We can look after risk management specifically on your project following an initial planning meeting and managing the risk management plan, and register for the lifecycle of the project. During the time we can be available for commercial support around claims and variations.
